I am 36 years old, a Filipina with medium brown eyes and light brown skin (my ancestors are a combination of Indian, Chinese and Spanish).I just had rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty (eye bags removal) 9 days ago. Although my face is now free from hematoma, my muscles in my lower eye area where the remaining eyebags are, are so stiff that I don't have eye expression. It seems that the shape of my eyes changed. Is it because I just had my eye bags removed very recently and at the same time, a nose lift? Did my nose lift affect the shape of my eyes? My doctor said I will see the final result of my eyes and nose after 6 months coz that's the normal healing time. But I am more concerned with my eyes since I think it lost its "old" appearance. My eyes are my asset and I can't afford to have the shape changed. I am a commercial model (tv & print ad) in the Philippines and I might encounter problems in the future. Do the changes I am undergoing right now is only temporarily and is only a result of the surgery?
