My name is Monica Lopez. In september of 2004 I had private surgery to the nose. I was advised that in two months the recovery should be complete.I then went back after two months with the facial area very swollen. I was told it could take up to six months and later on I was told it could be up to a year. As a result of this surgery I cannot breath properly through the nostrils, my face is still swollen, I've got strange headache that I've never had before, and the nose job is bad done.
I believe that I have been given incorrect information by the surgeon and as a result of this my life had been adversely affected, not going out of my house for a year. I have been few times to the same surgeon were I have been advised that, it would take up to 12 months to recover.
He alseo admitted that the surgery perfomed was not 100% accurate.
I had to leave my job, cannot breath properly, swimming, going to the gym and it has affected my sleeping patterns.

This surgeon is evil and should not be allowed to work in any area of medicine. Mr Azhar Aslam of 17 Harley Street sexually harrassed me, took money of me and didn't provide the complete service and refuses to offer me any after care, I am going to go to the GMC. I, too had a really bad experience with Mr Azlam. My face is now very numb two years on and he has ruined the area under my eyes along with terrible scarring infront of my ears. I advise anyone who has suffered with this surgeon to get in touch with TG Legal. they are handling two cases of negligence including mine concerning Mr Aslam. I am not happy with my nose job surgery Mr Aslam befriended me & made inappropriate sexual suggestions towards me so i wouldn't complain. He shouldn't be practicing as he has messed up my surgery & so many other womans. He is just after your money & to hell with the results & your feelins. Surely something should be done. I was thinking about going to Mr Aslam for breast implants in April but after reading the guest comments on this page i am certainly not going to go to a surgeon who rushes his work & doesn't give a good after care service. Thank god i did my research!!!

Re. Mr Aslam, I have some experience of this man and I find it disturbing that so many of my opinions of him are shared by other people. I found him to be extremely charming and reassuring during the consultation process right up until he collected the money. Thereafter the charm disappeared and the true Mr Aslam was revealed. His skills as a surgeon are diabolical and I know of several people who have been left scarred and disfigured by his attempts at s-facelift. He is also known to be fond of touching his patients in a quite inappropriate fashion and I am sure that this will land him in trouble with the police soon. He couldnt care less whether his patient was satisfied with their surgery and refuses even to entertain their complaints. His sidekick Addi is well trained in the art of evasion and deception and I find it incredible that Mr Aslam is still practicing in this country. The GMC should be ashamed.

I am patient of Mr Aslam, I do not agree with any of the comments above. This forum seems like a malicious attempt to spoil a credited surgeon work.
I had lipo with Mr Aslam and that was the best thing I did in my life. He was helpful throughout the whole process.
I am happy because I had realistic expectations.
I didn’t expect to become a MODEL. I look good and I feel good and I think he is a great surgeon.

I also believe this is a nasty attempt to discredit an excellent surgeon. I had breast enlargement surgery by Mr Aslam and I am delighted with the results. A friend of mine has just had a similar procedure and she is also very pleased. I can honestly say I found him kind, caring, understanding and reassuring, nothing like as described in some of the comments above. I would highly recommend Mr Aslam to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.

I had an slift facelift with Mr Aslam last year and it was one of the best things I have done. It has boosted my confidence tremendously and has had an impact in all areas of my life. Mr Aslam was reassuring and professional, the hospital care was brilliant..all the staff (nurses, aneasthetist etc) were very caring. One year on the scars are at the sides of my ears and barely visible and I like the way I look for the first time in ages. The result is better than I expected.
